Our pricing has been designed with flexibility in mind, giving you the freedom to create a celebration that reflects your vision, style, and budget. Whether you’re dreaming of an intimate gathering or a grand affair, our historic estate provides a breathtaking backdrop and a dedicated team to make your day unforgettable.
Venue Hire
What’s Included In Your Venue Hire?
– Exclusive use of The Manor House and adjacent gardens between 1pm and 12am
– Unique Ceremony Locations including ‘The Library’ for up to 70 guests, ‘The Garden Room’ for up to 180 guests,
– ‘Music Room’ for up to 250 guests. Outdoor Ceremonies available for up to 250 guests (weather permitting).
– Idyllic English countryside adjacent to the Manor House for reception drinks and photographs
– ‘The Great Hall’ or ‘Garden Room’ for indoor drinks receptions
– The ‘Music Room’ for your Wedding Breakfast & Evening Reception for up to 250 guests
– Overnight stay in the ‘Bridal Mews’ for the happy couple on the night of your Wedding
– ‘The Garden Room’ for a private breakfast with your overnight guests (subject to availability, minimum numbers apply)
– Dedicated Wedding Coordinator
– Round or Long Tables and Chiavari Chairs
– Candelabra centrepieces (including LED candles)
– Easel for your table plan, cake stand and knife, post box
– Sound system for background music and a microphone for speeches
– Access to our directory of highly recommended suppliers

At Thornton Manor, we work exclusively with our trusted, approved caterers—Olive Tree and Moments in Thyme—to bring your wedding vision to life with outstanding food and drink.
Whether you’re planning a relaxed, informal celebration or a more traditional, formal affair, you’ll have access to a wide range of carefully curated menu options.
Olive Tree specialises in exquisite food menus, while Moments in Thyme offers both food and a full bar service, including bespoke drinks packages tailored to your preferences.
A three-course wedding breakfast starts from £56.50 per guest, drinks packages from £15 and evening food from £6.95pp.
All catering is prepared by our in-house team with a menu tasting included. If you're looking for more relaxed style dining, we offer a hot & cold buffet from £23.75 per guest.

Accommodation
Accommodating up to 78 guests overnight, our historic estate offers the perfect retreat for you and your guests, combining comfort, elegance, and convenience.
With 14 elegant, fully equipped cottages and annexes to choose from, each stay is rich in history, charm, and understated luxury. From cosy one-bedroom retreats to spacious four-bedroom cottages with private hot tubs, our accommodation offers a peaceful escape designed for comfort and surrounded by timeless beauty.

Venue hire starts from £5,500, and couples typically spend between £6,500 and £34,000 in total including catering and drinks. The final cost depends on your date, guest numbers and menu choices.
Yes, currently we are offering 20% off venue hire on remaining dates until the end of July 2027.

Yes — our winter midweek packages start from £6,500 for 50 guests and cover venue hire, dining and a drink.
Yes. Winter Monday to Wednesday venue hire start from £5,500, which is almost half the cost of a peak season Saturday wedding.
There is no minimum guest number. We welcome weddings from 2-250 guests.
We typically require a 25% venue hire deposit to secure your wedding date. However, we understand that every couple’s circumstances are different, so we’re happy to work with you to create a payment plan that suits your budget and timeline.
The final balance is due 6 months prior to wedding date.
Yes — all prices on this page include VAT, so there are no hidden extras.

The servants quarters sleep 14 people and costs £665 per night.

• Availability excludes peak times of the year such as bank holidays, notable dates and the festive season. Please enquire for a bespoke package if you are interested in one of these peak dates.
• Our maximum capacity for Thornton Manor is 250 guests.
• A 25% non-refundable booking fee will be due alongside a signed venue hire agreement to secure your chosen wedding date, with the remaining balance due three months prior to your wedding date.
